Dr Natalie Maxwell

Veterinary Surgeon

I am a veterinary surgeon working full time at Village Vets in Hampstead. I have three first class degrees which have lead me to this role; a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine attained at the prestigious Royal Veterinary College of London (2022), a Masters of Science in Animal Welfare, Ethics and Law (2018) and a Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Nursing (2017).

My knowledge in animal welfare has given me opportunities to assist in challenging environments abroad, such as teaching in Indian Veterinary hospitals with limited resources and financial limitations, to improving animal welfare in the dog-meat trade in South Korea whilst providing aid to rescued and abused dogs.

In the clinic, I have a keen interest in chronic and acute feline medicine cases and also the care of exotic species such as reptiles and small mammals. Most of all, it’s important to me that both clients and their pets feel comfortable and supported during their visit to the hospital, so I aim to work collaboratively with clients to ensure the best welfare for their pet.

In my spare time, I enjoy painting with acrylics, buying new houseplants and long walks and hikes in nature with my whippet.
