Veterinary Surgeon

Dr Amy Day graduated from the University of Adelaide in Australia in 2022 with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. She started working in Australia in a mixed production clinic seeing a wide variety of farm and small animals. She relocated to the UK at the start of 2024 and has been with Village Vet since.

She has an interest in surgery and diagnostic imaging, where she is continuing to develop her skills through workshops and courses while working at Village Vet.

She also loves to travel having completed some volunteer veterinary work in South Africa. In her spare time you'll find her playing a range of sports, specifically netball or tennis and visiting new places across the UK or abroad (much easier to travel to compared to Australia).
