Lead Night Veterinary Surgeon

Katerina graduated from the Veterinary University in Brno, Czech Republic in 2018. As soon as she graduated, she moved to Liverpool to work in a first opinion small animal practice across Merseyside with Medivet. She started to develop interested in emergency medicine in 2020 when she joined a busy referral hospital in Prague. After coming back to the UK in 2023, Katerina worked in a several practices as a night vet and finally joined the St Albans team as the lead night vet in November 2023.

Katerina enjoys all aspects of emergency medicine, mostly diagnostics and surgery. Beside that, she enjoys volunteering in wildlife animal programs, traveling, outdoor sports, photography and studying languages.

She's a proud mom of her dog Rafik.
