Concluded her Masters Degree in Veterinary Science from ICBAS University of Porto in 2017. Moved from Portugal to England in 2020, joined the Village Vet Team in January 2025.

Growing up in the countryside, animals were always a part of her life.

Joana believes that our pets are important members of the family and will give it her all to help them.

She and her grumpy cat Sherlock enjoy lazy afternoons with treats and a good movie.
