Dr Anna Foreman
Veterinary Surgeon
Anna graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2017 and has worked in Hertfordshire/Cambridgeshire ever since. She has been with Village Vets since 2022, and at the St Albans hospital since the beginning of 2023.
Anna has a strong passion for surgical work, and is currently studying towards her postgraduate certificate in small animal surgery. She enjoys the challenge and precision involved in performing orthopaedic and soft tissue procedures, and particularly using advanced surgical techniques and instrumentation. In practice, Anna frequently undertakes a wide variety of surgical cases - from routine operations to more complex reconstructive procedures, including large wound repairs, mass removals, fractures and joint surgery.
Alongside her time in the operating room, Anna values the opportunity to follow her patient’s progress from diagnosis thorough to recovery, building strong relationships with pets, their owners, and her colleagues.
Outside of work, Anna enjoys spending time outdoors, particularly gardening, and relaxing with her own pets. She loves houseplants and fish keeping, and has a soft spot for the latest video game
