Jamie qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 2001. He joined Village Vet Hampstead in 2007 where in 2009 he was proudly voted Runner Up in Pet Plan’s Vet of the Year Awards. Jamie’s special interests lie in clinical animal behaviour, feline medicine, avian medicine and diagnostic imaging. Jamie holds formal post-graduate level qualifications in feline medicine, avian medicine, animal behaviour and diagnostic imaging, having completed examination for entry into the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in both the Feline and Avian Chapters, and in imaging he holds the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Certificate in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging.
Passing with distinction, Jamie holds one of the premier university post-graduate qualifications for animal behaviour counselling from Southampton University DipAB(CABC) and in recognition of the importance of animal behaviour, Jamie went on to complete a Masters in Clinical Animal Behaviour at Lincoln University under the guidance of Professor D. Mills, one of only three RCVS recognised specialists in Animal Behaviour.
His MANCVSc feline qualification is the approved qualification by the Feline Advisory Bureau and designates a vet with serious ‘catitude’.
