Dr Harriet Nicholson

Head Vet

Harriet has always wanted to be a vet from a young age and developed her exotics interest early with her family’s guinea pigs.  She attended the Royal Veterinary College qualifying in 2011 and worked in small animal practice until joining us in March 2014.

She has a keen interest in exotics and is currently studying for her certificate in exotic animal practice; and is happy to see all manner of different species, from macaws and snakes to geckos and mice.

Outside of work she enjoys fencing, swimming, hiking and running – lots of active hobbies – but she also enjoys baking and reading.  Her menagerie of guinea pigs and a snake also keep her busy at home.
