Chloe Harding

Head Nurse

Chloe is the Head Veterinary Nurse at Village Vet Longstanton. Originating from Essex, she moved to Cambridge to study BSc. Animal Welfare and graduated with Honours in 2006. In 2009, Chloe joined Village Vet as a student nurse and qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2011. Chloe has previously enjoyed splitting her time between Longstanton as an RVN and Vet 24 Milton as sole charge night RVN.

Chloe had a career change between 2016 and 2017 where she into teaching undergraduate and diploma veterinary nursing students, both academically and practically. Although she thoroughly enjoyed the challenges this role gave her, she missed the hands-on nursing and interaction with clients. She returned to Longstanton where she enjoys clinical coaching and the variety of nursing duties that working within a GP practice brings.

Chloe has a keen interest in teaching student veterinary nurses, nutrition, parasitology, and nurse clinics, as well as emergency and critical care.

Chloe lives with her husband James and their two rescue dogs, Evie and Darcy. In her spare time, she enjoys dog walking, going to the cinema, crochet and spending time with her family and friends. Chloe is currently studying towards the Certificate in Canine and Feline Veterinary Health Nutrition (CertCFVHNut) and in the future she hopes to gain her  Veterinary Nursing Practitioner Post-Graduate Certificate (PgC).
