Dr Tim Richardson

Tim qualified from Cambridge University Veterinary School in 1998. He started his career working in farm animal practice in rural Nottinghamshire, before moving to London to join a large Small Animal Hospital in north west London. This led to Tim running his own Small Animal clinic in Surrey for a number of years, before he chose to take his life and career in a different direction, with a move north to Reykjavík, Iceland. Here Tim worked across many different areas of the Veterinary profession in Iceland, and took full advantage of all the wonderful opportunities that living in a country as uniquely beautiful as Iceland has to offer.

Tim now returns to London with a wealth of experience. His interests lay in all aspects of Small Animal Medicine, and particularly in preventive medicine, oncology and the care of elderly pets.

Outside of work Tim enjoys returning to Iceland as often as possible, where he stays in the old wooden house which he renovated, enjoys photographing the Northern Lights and the unique Icelandic scenery, and visits his Icelandic horse, Steggur.
