Dr Kristina Peters
Growing up in Germany with a menangerie of pets and a natural disposition to help led Kristina to her dream career as vet. She graduated in Leipzig, Germany in 2003, followed by her doctorate in Heidelberg and Munich. She is Bavarian by birth, but British by heart so she moved to sunny Norfolk in 2007 to join a busy 8 vet practice were she found and developed her interest in surgery, ultrasound imaging and dentistry, although she enjoys all aspects of veterinary practice. In addition to helping beloved pets and their owners, she had the pleasure of working closely with rehoming centres of Cats Protection and Dogs Trust, the army dogs and Guide Dogs for the blind.
Kristina joined the team at Village Vet Milton as head vet in March 2014 and has enjoyed getting to know and look after all the lovely pets and their owners since. She is also currently studying towards a postgraduate certificate in small animal surgery to further her qualifications.
Kristina is proud owner of her lovely little dog Rudi (if you haven’t met him yet you should ask to – he is the official meet and greet person at Milton). Outside work she is a keen photographer and loves long hikes and spending time with her friends and family.
