Biography
Dr McClaran is head of surgery at Village Vet’s sister clinic London Veterinary Specialists. She is a world-renowned specialist in soft tissue surgery and is certified as such by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons (ACVS). Previous to joining the veterinary company, she was head of the Department of Surgery at the Animal Medical Center in New York City, one of the largest and busiest veterinary hospitals globally.
Dr McClaran gained a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Tufts University, Massachusetts in the US in 1998. She then completed an internship and residency at the AMC, after which she stayed there as surgeon and residency director for many years. She continues to specialise in soft-tissue surgery.
