Daisy was born in South Africa but unfortunately only spent two years in the lovely country before her family went back to Munich, Germany, where Daisy grew up and went to school. She has always been surrounded by dogs and other pets (cats and horses) and had a big interest in science, so there was never a doubt in her mind that she wanted to be a vet.
Daisy qualified from the University of Leipzig, Germany, in 2008. During her studies Daisy gained fantastic work experience in Australia (Sydney and Bundaberg). After graduating, Daisy started working at the small animal veterinary clinic of the University of Berlin and then moved to work in a private veterinary clinic in Augsburg and finally a great small animal practice in Munich. To complement her veterinary knowledge Daisy has completed a Diploma in Canine Behaviour and finds this aspect fascinating and really enjoys challenging behavioural cases.
Daisy loves working together with pets and their owners and is always happy to help. Her aim is to provide the best possible medical care whilst understanding the animal’s mind as far as possible and working together with owners to get the best care for their pets.
Daisy’s interests include horse riding, golfing, skiing, travelling and painting.
She lives in London with her partner and their rescue cats Judy and Winston.
