Carly Shudell

When I was 3 years old I had a fascination with holding anything with more than 4 legs and used to scare my dad quite a bit with the wonderful creatures I used to try and keep as pets. I attended Oaklands College and studied Level 3 Animal Management which I thoroughly enjoyed as well as having 3 part time jobs. After this, I started training at Medivet Training College to study Veterinary Nursing in which I passed in March 2017. The hardest thing I have ever done but worth it. I joined Village vet mid-2015 and haven’t looked back!

I have many reptiles at home and have a huge interest in Herpetology. I have 2 Royal Pythons, a Bearded Dragon, 2 Crested Geckos, two beautiful dogs called Max and Archie and I wouldn’t change any of them for the world.

I am hoping to enrol onto my Emergency and Critical Care course soon and then after that my exotics nursing certificate! I like to keep my brain busy!
